Huntington State Park Adventure Race July 17,
2010
All fees are included with online registration:
Register at Raceit.com, fees include
one day $8.00 per racer USARA insurance fee, kayak, paddles, race number, t-shirt, and post-race
refreshments.
Print a
flier and mail in race registration here. Only one
team member needs to send the application. All racers will
be required to sign a waiver race morning before race numbers
are issued
Online registration closes at 5:00 PM on
Wednesday, July 15th. Contact Monkey Races for further
information.
Cancellation Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. If the event is
not sold out and you notify us within two weeks prior to the
event date, we will attempt to transfer your entry. If the event
is sold out the entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and
NON-TRANSFERABLE.

The Course
Race will include trail running, mountain
biking, kayaking, and navigation. Total miles, 15-20.
Huntington State Park has some of the best
mountain biking in Connecticut with bike access on most trails.
The park has many well-marked trails and good maps are
available, you are encouraged to seek out alternate maps for
study. Before the race you will be issued a topographic
course map and you will not be permitted to use any other map
during the race. Racers caught with alternate maps during
the race will be disqualified.

8:00 AM Pre-Race Meeting
9:00 AM Race Start
1:00 PM Awards
3:00 PM Race Cutoff,
You will be assessed a 5 point penalty for
arriving at the race finish at 3:01pm, you will be penalized one
additional point for every 5 minutes you are late after 3:01.
If you are back at 3:06 that will be a
6 point total penalty and so on.
